WORK in progress. NEED ADVICE!
This is probably the only preview that I will show since the other illustrations have to be a super-secret so that you can be super-surprised and embarrassed by them. XD;
But I'm only showing this here since I need your advice on how I should go about coloring this. Right now it looks kind of flat right? But is it okay like this? My art doesn't seem to lend itself very well to coloring maybe? I just don't have much experience in this. orz I made a preliminary pencil sketch and created another version with cleaner pencil lines then cleaned up the pencils on the computer and darkened them. Should I had inked by india ink like I usually do or go over the lines on the computer?

Ooh, sexy! I think it looks great like this, actually! I think your style lends itself well to this sort of coloring. But then, I suck at coloring things, so take my opinion with a HUGE grain of salt. ^^;;

Hey! You found the sketchblog. XD Thanks for your input. I want to try more painting-like coloring too, but for this particular image maybe the current coloring is okay? Hmmm...
I never had anyone say that something I drew was sexy before. XD;; It's always, "It's really cute" or something.

Ogata looks like he is up to no good with that scuba gear on 8D. Did he just catch some new friends for his aquarium XD??
I actually think that your drawings work really well with flat-colours. Your picture this time seems to have thinner lines than usual though? I think if you chose brighter colours it might have more impact? But do what you think will work/look best :)
I-I wanted to know if I can do a guest thing for the calendar (*A*) I want to draw disgusting ogata things tooooo

Yes... it's Ogata at the beach and he found a new friend. :D :D :D
Yeah, I'm thinking the problem is that the colours are kind of muted. Thanks for your input! The background that I made is kind of stale too so I'm trying to work on improving that. >O<
YES PLEASE GUEST WITH ME. I WOULD LOVE IT. I will send you an email soon!
